Dear Parents,

 

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Darka Marie Steinmann. I am one of the owners of Happy Hedgehog International Playgroup.

Here is a little bit about my background. I grew up in Canada, and from a very early age knew that I wanted to work with children. I attended College where I received a Diploma in Social Services and then a certificate in Autism and Behavioural Studies. Before moving to Switzerland I worked with children and teenagers to help them in their social and emotional development.

For the past twelve years, I have lived in Switzerland. While living in Switzerland I began to work in the field of Early Childhood Education. This is where I discovered my true passion and where I could make a real difference in a child´s educational journey.

Working with young children is very rewarding. From the moment they wake-up, till the time they close their eyes, they are learning from their environment and those around them. At Happy Hedgehog our goal is to provide your child a safe and nurturing environment to learn, grow and develop. I look forward to working, with you and getting to know you and your child.

Dear Parents,

 

My name is Anasztazia Donaczi-Bognar. I have been living in Switzerland since 2016. The last 6 and a half years I worked in an international daycare as an English teacher/ group leader. I had studied at the University of Pécs in Hungary, where I got my first qualification as a Healthcare Promotion Manager. I graduated from the University of West Hungary. My second qualification is Pre- school teacher/ kindergarten teacher. Eventually I qualified as Kids Aerobics Instructor in 2019. 

Besides everyday education and caretaking, having a Healthcare Promotion Degree I would like to  put a great emphasis in our playgroup/Spielgruppe on healthcare, finding the basis of a healthy lifestyle and the love of physical activities. Therefore we offer physical activities such as kids aerobics, sport days and outing projects. Meanwhile having the above written entertainments we put the main focus on teaching English as a foreign language. We offer a service where kids can develop their communication skills.

Besides these services we consider paying attention to informing and guiding our clients in their parenthood therefore we organise events on pedagogical and psychological topics. I am looking forward to meeting and working with you and your child.
